General Congress FBE - AIX-EN-PROVENCE, 20-22 May 2010

From 20th to 22nd May 2010, the AIX EN PROVENCE congress will have as its main theme :

Should we “modernise" the lawyers’ profession and the Bars ?

We will be concentrating on the reforms currently under way in several countries (England, Italy, Poland …) which will allow each participant to describe the situation in their respective country.

Certain aspects will be underlined :

Training, especially reforms about training and specialisation (Switzerland, France, …),

A considerable portion of the debate will be devoted to e-justice and new technologies.

What are the European Commission’s intentions ? What will be the content and effects of the e-justice portal ? What can we expect from the development of videoconferences ? What is the state of progress in the materialisation of procedures and internet contacts between different jurisdictions and law firms ?

Lectures and debates will allow us to find out about the situation in each country and bring together experiences and ideas.

We are expecting you in considerable numbers at the AIX EN PROVENCE congress.
