CCBE identity card

The CCBE plans to phase out the paper version of the CCBE identity card by the beginning of 2010. It tries to promote greater use of the plastic version of the card, as more and more Bars are going in this direction. The plastic version has the possibility of having a chip inserted, which opens up the use of technology in association with the card. The plastic version is produced under a licensing agreement between the CCBE and the national Bar or Law Society.
