Harmonised methodology for classifying and reporting consumer complaints.

The Commission launched this summer a consultation on a project of harmonised methodology for classifying and reporting consumer complaints and enquiries.

You will find attached the Commission’s Communication, the questionnaire and the staff working document.

The project intends to cover services by lawyers/legal services (see page 23 of the staff working document).

If your Bar/Law Society wishes to respond to the questionnaire (which is addressed to complaint handling bodies), please note that the deadline to submit responses is 5 October 2009.
