The Federation of European Bars (FBE), together with the DIKE Digitalisation & Access to Justice Research Group at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, is pleased to invite you to the online webinar “Artificial Intelligence and Access to Justice”, which will take place on 29 September 2026 at 6:00 PM CEST.
The webinar draws on the experience of the EU co funded CREA3 and IDEA projects, exploring how digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence can support access to justice and dispute resolution across Europe.
The discussion will focus on how AI can assist mediation and dispute resolution, particularly in cross border labour law and family law disputes. The speakers will also address the broader impact of AI on access to justice and the legal profession, including the opportunities offered by these technologies as well as the legal and ethical risks and challenges associated with their use.
The webinar will consider how AI can support lawyers and mediators while preserving human judgement and how technological solutions can facilitate dispute resolution while safeguarding fundamental rights, equality and procedural fairness.
