The FBE Human Rights Commission warmly invites young lawyers and law students (up to 35 years old and up to 5 years qualified) to take part in the 6th edition of the International Human Rights Oratory Competition.

When: 9–11 October 2025
This is a unique opportunity to:
• Develop oratory and legal English skills
• Present arguments before an international jury
• Meet young lawyers from across Europe
• Enjoy a visit to the beautiful city of Antwerp
Topic for this edition:
“Can the United Nations develop an effective international strategy to solve the current levels of migration?”
Selected participants will prepare a 10-minute speech and, if among the finalists, engage in a debate round on a different topic.
Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the sending organisation.
Deadline for applications: 12 September 2025 (by 12:00 midday).
